Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Executive to join our team at UNICOM Government, Inc. As a Client Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities through individual ownership and coordinated marketing support activities with inside sales teams, field sales teams, and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow relationships with key decision-makers within a designated account territory.
  • Understand and communicate UNICOM's value proposition and service offerings.
  • Implement a sales strategy to promote UNICOM's solution capabilities and accurately forecast for new business.
  • Assist other departments in managing the sales-related details required to ensure on-time implementation of products and services.
  • Customize and deliver presentations to prospective customers demonstrating UNICOM's products, services, and value.
  • Work closely with Inside Sales Representative to identify and uncover qualified opportunities.
  • Prepare and prioritize sales planning to meet quota.
  • Build and maintain the CRM Customer Database including tracking sales opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with UNICOM vendor partner sales representatives.
  • Develop and manage a forecast and pipeline for specified territory.
  • Responsible for working with Bids & Proposals on outlining the details of proposals to determine bid actions and generate professional proposals.
  • Collaborate with UNICOM resources to successfully deliver solutions to solve customer problems.
  • Understand and communicate UNICOM's products and services and have the ability to design a solution to specifically fit the customer's need by leveraging presales engineers and solution specialists.
  • Experience selling solutions through Government contract vehicles including GWAC, IDIQ, and BPA contracts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, however, experience may be substituted for education.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in outside sales.
  • Prior experience in selling to the Federal, State, and/or Local governments is highly desirable.
  • Recent experience selling technology services and solutions to customers is required.
  • Successful track-record of quota attainment/overachievement required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both internal and external customers and vendors.
  • Knowledge of and utilization of is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Should be focused, driven, and motivated to increase business for the company.
  • Must be available to work non-standard hours during peak season times.
