Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Chantilly, Virginia (Candidates living within a 10-15 mile radius of the office are preferred)

About the Role:

NVR is seeking a Business Development Executive to join our Corporate Growth team in Chantilly, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and capturing new business development opportunities in existing and new Federal Government IT markets. You will work closely with our President to develop and implement growth strategies, manage a diverse team, and drive tactical and strategic growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation methods
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth
  • Identify qualified teaming partners and prepare detailed competitor analyses
  • Attend industry events and conferences to market company capabilities and services
  • Collaborate with senior team members on business development initiatives and develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets
  • Support in creating and presenting effective sales pitches, contributing to the conversion of prospects
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts using Zoho CRM software

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in Federal IT business development, preferably in IT staffing or consulting
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
