Your Responsibilities as a Congressional Affairs Analyst

In this role, you will support our U.S. Navy clients by providing expert analysis and strategic guidance on issues related to naval shipyards, procurement, and maintenance. You will act as a vital link between the Navy and Congress, requiring a SECRET clearance.

This position demands strong analytical abilities, effective communication skills, and a professional demeanor. You will need to lead initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications for the Congressional Affairs Analyst Position

To thrive in this role, candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline (an advanced degree is preferred). A minimum of 5 years of experience in legislative analysis, particularly within naval shipyards or defense procurement, is essential. A comprehensive understanding of the legislative process and Congressional operations, along with the capability to translate complex technical issues into clear, actionable insights, is crucial.
