Job Overview

Vista Global is a leading private aviation enterprise, recognized for operating the largest fleet of large cabin private jets worldwide, committed to excellence in service, safety, and reliability.

We are in search of a seasoned and proficient Senior Manager of External Financial Reporting to enhance our finance division based in London. The successful candidate will possess significant expertise in financial reporting for multinational entities, alongside a robust foundation in technical accounting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The Senior Manager will be accountable for the meticulous preparation and timely submission of external financial statements, ensuring adherence to IFRS and pertinent regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the compilation and consolidation of the organization's financial statements in alignment with IFRS. Guarantee the precise and prompt delivery of quarterly and annual financial disclosures. Examine and interpret financial statements and disclosures to confirm compliance with regulatory standards. Take ownership of technical accounting issues across the Vista Global Group as they arise and prepare supporting documentation. Offer technical accounting expertise and assistance to the finance team and other departments. Investigate and implement new IFRS standards and updates. Maintain current knowledge of IFRS and other applicable regulations. Formulate and revise accounting policies and procedures. Serve as a primary contact for external auditors. Assist in managing the audit process, including planning, coordination, and resolution of issues. Ensure the timely and effective completion of the annual audit. Develop and uphold robust internal control mechanisms for financial reporting. Identify and rectify deficiencies in the financial reporting process. Communicate financial outcomes and concerns to senior management and other stakeholders. Prepare presentations and reports for the board of directors, investors, and other external entities. Address inquiries from regulatory bodies, investors, and other stakeholders. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities. Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

Qualified accountant with over 3 years of post-qualification experience, specializing in financial reporting and technical accounting. Strong leadership abilities with a capacity to guide multiple global teams to meet stringent reporting deadlines. Adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail and the capability to establish processes that promote efficient and effective reviews.
