About the Position

The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with the North America Content CFO to oversee the monthly financial reporting packages for internal assessment and consolidation. The candidate should possess a robust understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles, ready to pinpoint performance trends against budgets. This role will involve significant interaction with senior financial personnel, providing exposure to global leadership to ensure a comprehensive grasp of the operational dynamics within the Americas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Focus primarily on accounting and reporting functions, guaranteeing precise and timely financial data for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and sustain budgets and specialized calculation files as required.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses/statements, including balance sheets and income statements, along with reviews of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Drive process enhancements and system upgrades to optimize accounting operations and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Adhere to internal controls and accounting policies/procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Independently manage special financial analysis projects and be ready to present findings to leadership.
  • Assist the CFO and operational units in preparing for external audits and follow up as necessary.
  • Maintain a hybrid work schedule, attending the office as required.
About You
The Essentials:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting; CPA designation is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in an accounting department with a focus on financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with IFRS/U.S. GAAP and U.S. Tax Code.
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software, such as NetSuite.
  • Proven capability to work effectively in a team and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced professional setting while managing multiple projects and deadlines; strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with leadership at all levels.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
