We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Senior Manager of External Financial Reporting to enhance our finance division located in London. The successful candidate will possess substantial expertise in financial reporting for multinational entities, alongside a robust foundation in technical accounting adhering to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The Senior Manager will take charge of the accurate and timely preparation of external financial reports, ensuring alignment with IFRS and pertinent regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the compilation and consolidation of the organization's financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Guarantee the precise and prompt submission of quarterly and annual financial reports. Examine and interpret financial statements and disclosures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Manage technical accounting issues within the Vista Global Group as they emerge and prepare necessary documentation. Offer technical accounting advice and assistance to the finance department and other business units. Investigate and implement new IFRS standards and modifications. Keep abreast of IFRS and other relevant regulatory frameworks. Formulate and revise accounting policies and procedures. Serve as a primary contact for external auditors. Assist in managing the audit process, including planning, coordination, and resolution of issues. Ensure the timely and effective completion of the annual audit. Establish and uphold robust internal control mechanisms for financial reporting. Identify and rectify deficiencies in the financial reporting process. Communicate financial outcomes and concerns to senior leadership and other stakeholders. Prepare presentations and reports for the board of directors, investors, and other external entities. Address inquiries from regulatory authorities, investors, and other stakeholders. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills. Promote a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

Qualified accountant with over 3 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting and technical accounting. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to guide multiple global teams to meet stringent reporting deadlines. Comfortable operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to develop processes that facilitate efficient and effective reviews.
