Assistant Executive Director

The Goodkind Group, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Executive Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in building a strong team, fostering a dynamic philanthropic culture, and strengthening programs and impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the oversight and implementation of programs, direct mail campaigns, prospect research, funding proposals, data entry, acknowledgement letters and procedures, special fundraising events, and special Foundation-related projects as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the finance department to reconcile donor activity.
  • Perform related duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent, five years of relevant fund development experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of philanthropy and fundraising concepts, fluent in Donor Perfect, advanced computer skills with demonstrated knowledge and use of Windows MS Office, keyboard skills, email, and internet.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, executive presence, business acumen, strong listening skills, and the capacity to consider views contrary to one's own.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and effective teams, self-starter with strong planning and time management skills, previous experience in policy development and implementation, aptitude for financial analysis, supervisory experience, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain strict confidence.
