Position Overview

Become a vital part of Sonic Automotive, a premier dealership dedicated to fostering your career development and achievement. As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in assisting clients with their vehicle selections, guiding them through the purchasing journey, and ensuring a seamless buying experience. If you possess a love for automobiles and a desire to assist customers, this position is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers in a welcoming manner to assess their needs and suggest appropriate vehicles.
  • Facilitate test drives to highlight vehicle features and benefits.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicle models to provide precise information to clients.
  • Assist customers throughout the purchasing process, including financing alternatives.
  • Negotiate sales agreements with transparency and finalize transactions.
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers after the sale to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Collaborate with fellow sales team members to enhance the customer experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training to improve sales techniques.
  • Work towards achieving established sales objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for vehicles and dedication to customer service.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
  • Eligibility to work in the USA.
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment assessments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual candidates (Spanish proficiency preferred).
  • Prior experience in automotive sales is advantageous.
  • Proficient negotiation skills.

Compensation Structure:

  • OTE: $75,000 - $125,000+ annually (contingent upon meeting sales targets)
