Job Summary:
As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will be instrumental in guiding customers through their vehicle purchasing journey, providing insights into available models, and ensuring a seamless buying experience.
Your passion for cars and exceptional communication abilities will significantly contribute to the effectiveness of our sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Welcome and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner to identify their needs and preferences for vehicle recommendations.
2. Conduct test drives to demonstrate vehicle features and performance.
3. Stay informed about the specifications, features, and pricing of all vehicle models to offer accurate information to customers.
4. Guide customers through the sales process, including vehicle selection, financing options, and trade-in evaluations.
5. Negotiate and finalize sales agreements transparently and with a customer-centric approach.
6. Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
7. Build and nurture positive relationships with customers for potential repeat business and referrals.
8. Collaborate with fellow sales team members and other departments to provide a cohesive customer experience.
9. Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
10. Strive to meet individual and team sales targets while utilizing effective sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine enthusiasm for automobiles and a desire to assist customers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA and demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug tests.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual candidates (Spanish-speaking) are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in automotive sales is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills are highly valued.
Compensation:
OTE (On-Target-Earnings): $75,000 - $125,000+ annually, contingent upon meeting and exceeding sales goals. The Sales Consultant position includes a base hourly wage of $17.00, with commission opportunities based on closed sales performance, and potential production bonuses based on individual or team achievements.
