Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Prysmian Group. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services, and contributing to the company's commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Planning and Control: Develop and implement quality plans, control and testing procedures, and report on compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Process Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on all activities, processes, and procedures to ensure adherence to quality and safety policies.
  • Inspections and Reviews: Perform regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development of company policies, processes, and procedures related to quality and safety.
  • Quality Support: Provide quality planning and support to departments as needed.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain quality and other management system documentation.
  • Customer Complaints and Nonconformities: Follow up on customer complaints and internal quality nonconformities, and take corrective and preventive actions with the Quality department.
  • Raw Material Verification: Review all raw material Certificate of Analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Certified Test Plans: Create and maintain Certified Test Plans per customer requirements.
  • Third-Party Inspections and Audits: Coordinate scheduling third-party inspections, audits, and equipment calibrations.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other departments, suppliers, and customers.
  • Purchase Requisitions: Create purchase requisitions for both Quality and HSE.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree not required, but a plus.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Good leadership, co-operation, and interactions skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills.
  • Decision-Making and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Quality Assurance Experience: Proven experience in quality assurance systems.
  • Additional Skills: Advanced Excel and MS Office and Access Database Knowledge, Good written and oral communication skills, SAP knowledge a plus, Expertise in ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, and 45001:2018 a plus, PA Notary License preferred.
