Job Description:
Currently, we are looking for a quality assurance technician responsible for inspection and auditing within all areas of the manufacturing facility, assuring quality standards are being maintained, participating in maintaining and improving the organization’s Quality
Management System to assure customer satisfaction and quality and coordinating these activities in-line
with ISO 9001 guidelines. This job is located in Guilford, CT.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)
* Daily auditing of departmental processes and paperwork according to QA procedures.
* Incoming inspection on specified materials.
* Review/Pre-Approval of process paperwork for critical customer/production processes.
* Real-time inspection of products, processes and systems.
* Initiate, monitor and maintain records pertaining to NCMR’s, CAR’s, SCAR’s and Supplier
Quality Management programs as required.
* Aid in timely completion of mandatory operator/employee training.
* Initiate/participate in facility continuous improvement efforts.
* Perform tasks in accordance to all GSC safety rules and regulations..
* Performs tasks in accordance to GSC handbook and written procedures
* Other duties as needed and assigned by management.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

* H.S. Diploma
* 3-5 yrs quality department experience in a manufacturing environment
* Ability to interpret and implement customer specifications/requirements
* Excellent visual acuity and color discrimination.
* Ability to work independently

* Computer literate (spreadsheets, word processing, etc.); experience with SPC
tools/software helpful
 *Good verbal and written communication skills
* Able to lift 20lb
