Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at H & H Inc. in New Haven, CT. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our projects and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our quality management systems and approved client and/or project-specific quality management plans.
  • Perform compliance and quality assurance audits as needed for active projects, ensuring that all quality control documents and systems are in place and functioning effectively.
  • Provide regular reports on project quality audits, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions or system enhancements.
  • Develop and update auditor training and operating procedures, related to quality audits and engineering oversight, for approval by the Quality Manager.
  • Coordinate subconsultant audits and findings with the project manager and Quality Manager, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements to enhance quality and project delivery, aligning with business objectives and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or computer science.
  • Zero to three years of experience working in a quality management or QA/QC environment.
  • Strong technical writing skills and experience preparing technical memos, forms, or reports.
  • Knowledge of engineering project delivery and quality management systems.
  • Ability to train and coordinate additional engineering staff to assist with auditing activities.
  • Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with the Quality Manager and engineering staff.
