Job Summary

Lock Haven Rehabilitation & Senior Living is seeking a skilled Marketing Liaison to join our team. As a Marketing Liaison, you will play a crucial role in developing partnerships with healthcare professionals, building relationships with referral sources, and generating referrals to support our census and quality mix goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with Administrators, Regional Business Development Directors, and SCCs to establish clear expectations and goals.
  • Build Relationships with Referral Sources: Foster positive working relationships with referral facility staff, including Admissions, DON, and other key stakeholders, to identify and support their needs.
  • Generate Referrals: Develop and implement strategies to generate referrals to selected facilities, supporting their census and quality mix goals.
  • Assist with Business Development: Assist in building relationships with facility and referral sources, and respond timely to inquiry calls from hospital discharge planners and other referral sources.
  • Conduct Patient Assessments: Conduct patient assessments in a timely manner after a referral is given by a hospital discharge planner, case manager, social worker, physician, or family member.
  • Provide Follow-up Support: Provide follow-up support to Admission Directors on benefits verification and pre-certification process.
  • Assist with Pre-Admission Care Planning: Assist as needed with pre-admission care planning, working with facility staff to understand census and quality mix goals and referral process expectations.
  • Maintain Sales Management Tools: Maintain the CFM database as a sales management tool, providing daily updates to the Admission & Marketing Directors regarding referral and admissions activities.
  • Collaborate with Facility Staff: Maintain a close working relationship with the Directors of Nursing and the Business Office Managers to ensure appropriate and efficient decisions about prospective admissions.
  • Make Admissions Recommendations: Make admissions recommendations to facility management, communicating with facilities about appropriate room and bed needs, as well as special needs of new admits to staff.
  • Maintain Waiting Lists: Maintain a waiting list in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Regulations: Maintain a working knowledge of Federal and State regulations and reimbursement (Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid).
  • Provide Orientation and Training: Provide assistance with new Stakeholder orientation regarding the marketing and admissions process, and maintain a strong working knowledge of managed care referral processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and reimbursement processes.
