Patient Service Associate

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Service Associate to join our team at Bon Appétit. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Take patient menu selections prior to each meal, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Assemble and deliver patient trays, adhering to dietary restrictions and special requests.
- Interact with nursing staff to ensure accurate patient diet prescriptions and food needs are met.
- Retrieve trays from patient rooms, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
- Monitor patients who are NPO, on liquid diets, or have a calorie count ordered, working closely with the dietitian to ensure their needs are met.
- Communicate patient-related problems or concerns to appropriate personnel in a timely manner, following departmental procedures.
- Adhere to facility confidentiality and patients' rights policy, as outlined in the facility's HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Contribute to patient satisfaction goals by providing quality service, adhering to federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations, and maintaining a clean and sanitary working environment.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
