We are currently looking for a Production Team Supervisor to enhance our operations. This position will be integral to our production team, ensuring that daily output aligns with our production schedules and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee production areas to ensure adherence to schedules, quality, and safety protocols.
  • Adapt to changes in scheduling and personnel to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor daily production flow and proactively address potential bottlenecks.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the production floor to inspire and support team members.
  • Ensure daily production targets are achieved and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Lead daily production meetings to communicate objectives and updates to the team.
  • Ensure accuracy in documentation and inventory management.
  • Facilitate efficient changeovers of production lines and equipment.
  • Report significant issues to the maintenance department promptly.
  • Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards for all equipment.
  • Complete necessary logs and administrative tasks to comply with regulatory and company standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lean practices within the team.
  • Implement and sustain 5-S methodologies (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
  • Ensure MDI boards are updated accurately and that appropriate actions are taken when standards are not met.
  • Utilize daily standard work to reinforce disciplined practices among team members.
  • Manage the safety and cleanliness of the production environment.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.

Management Competencies:
Develop and maintain a high-performing team aligned with Trustapexinternational's vision and values.

Qualifications:
This role requires 2 to 5 years of experience in team leadership within a manufacturing setting or a relevant four-year degree.

Skills Required:
Ability to learn and apply cleaning and sanitizing processes. Familiarity with reporting software such as MRP systems is beneficial. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; some college education is preferred.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in using technology to enhance production quality and efficiency. Must have a solid understanding of basic math and be able to create reports or queries as needed.

Work Environment:
This position may require extended hours based on business demands and has a moderate to high level of deadline pressure. The role involves indoor work, potentially in warm and humid conditions, and may require lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
