- Overseeing portion control for service.
- Properly storing and handling raw and prepared food items, ensuring accurate labeling.
- Adhering to local health department regulations in food handling practices.
- Implementing effective food handling techniques to minimize waste and manage costs.
- Reporting equipment maintenance needs and facilitating necessary repairs.
- Acting as a liaison for staff-related issues, communicating with Human Resources as needed.
- Complying with uniform, grooming, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Possession of ServeSafe Certification & Food Handlers Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Proficient in computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Basic mathematical proficiency.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions effectively.
- Capability to lead and inspire others while demonstrating supervisory knowledge.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, planning, organizational, and creative skills; eagerness to contribute innovative ideas.
- Effective time management and task prioritization skills.
- Proficient in delegating tasks appropriately.
