Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong leader to oversee the manufacturing operations of our company. As a Production Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that our production processes are running smoothly and efficiently, and that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Assist the Supervisor in leading direct reports in daily tasks and goals, and promote open and positive dialogue with team members.
  • Manufacturing Operations: Support the manufacturing of products by utilizing manufacturing equipment, in-process instrumentation, and production documentation in accordance with current production methods, company policy, and safety regulations.
  • Job Order Administration: Process production order SAP transactions as required, conduct order changes in SAP to ensure accuracy of material transactions, and assist in maintaining the daily dispatch.
  • Quality and Safety: Work with area Manufacturing Engineer (ME) to help resolve QN's, lot inspections, and project on-holds, and ensure that all production material/supplies/tools are available at point of consumption.
  • Inventory Management: Work with area technicians and other support functions to define/establish material presentation, identify material deficiencies, and perform root cause analysis to minimize/eliminate out-of-stock occurrence.
  • Training and Development: Assist in providing work direction to assure labor resources are fully utilized, plan and distribute future work, and maintain close collaboration with Supervisor/Planning to set schedule and coordinate unscheduled work activity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in area safety investigations, support implementation of new practices, and contribute to safety improvements and enforcement of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Vo-tech degree and 3 years relevant manufacturing experience, or 6 years relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Experience: 2 years Lead, Foreman, or supervisor experience preferred.
  • Skills: General SAP experience preferred, proven ability to work with Quality Systems and Process Routings, basic MS Office skills, and willingness to work flexible schedule when required by the business.
