Position Overview

We are looking for a committed individual to become part of our team as a Supplier for Weekend Shifts. The operational hours are from Friday to Sunday, 6 AM to 6:30 PM, with a premium of $0.75 per hour for the Weekend Shift Differential.

Key Responsibilities

The Supplier in the Temp Room is tasked with:

  • Removing logs of meat and cheese from combinations.
  • Extracting boxed products or allergen items and placing them in designated windows.
  • Ensuring that the windows are adequately filled to maintain the efficiency of Ready-to-Eat (RTE) production.
Food Safety and Quality Assurance

It is essential to:

  • Implement assigned food safety protocols, quality standards, and continuous improvement measures to meet regulatory and customer expectations.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company policies.
  • Participate in Sween Quarterly Safety Training sessions to comply with OSHA regulations and company policies.
Operational Excellence

Responsibilities also include:

  • Following company policies and procedures while monitoring for material waste, including floor waste and over-portioning of raw materials.
  • Notifying maintenance immediately if any equipment issues arise.
  • Contributing to process enhancements and adhering to standard work practices in filling the bread and bun windows.
Supplier – Temp Room Duties

As a Supplier in the Temp Room, you will:

  • Report any questionable products to Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Supervisors, Temp Room Leads, or Production Managers prior to sending items to the Prep Room.
  • Be expected to perform assigned rotations within a 12-hour shift.
  • Have prior food-related experience, and the ability to communicate in English is a plus.
  • Possess previous assembly line experience in a food-related environment.
