Key Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, you will:
- Generate and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial loans while ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Act as the primary account and relationship manager for both new and existing clients.
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities.
- Engage with current clients to assess their portfolios and provide tailored recommendations.
- Oversee sales activities, credit assessments, loan structuring, client interviews, and credit performance monitoring.
- Build and nurture client relationships to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Cross-sell additional banking products as appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial lending, credit, underwriting, or related fields. A combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, and the lending process.
- Proven ability to expand commercial loan portfolios and client relationships while effectively cross-selling bank products.
- Strong skills in client interviewing and character assessment.
- Capability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with various software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
