Key Responsibilities:


As a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, you will:

  • Generate and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial loans while ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Act as the primary account and relationship manager for both new and existing clients.
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities.
  • Engage with current clients to assess their portfolios and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Oversee sales activities, credit assessments, loan structuring, client interviews, and credit performance monitoring.
  • Build and nurture client relationships to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-sell additional banking products as appropriate.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial lending, credit, underwriting, or related fields. A combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, and the lending process.
  • Proven ability to expand commercial loan portfolios and client relationships while effectively cross-selling bank products.
  • Strong skills in client interviewing and character assessment.
  • Capability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with various software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
