Piper Companies is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Monitoring Associate Scientist to join their team at a contract manufacturing biotech facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental monitoring activities, including air viable, total air particulate, and surface viable testing.
  • Perform clean utility monitoring, including water sampling, bioburden, conductivity, TOC, coliform, and nitrates testing.
  • Conduct compressed gas monitoring, including collection, air viable, total air particulate, dragger tests, and specific ID tests.
  • Support product testing, including bioburden, endotoxin, host purity, and non-host testing.
  • Provide laboratory support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology, microbiology, chemistry, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience with microbiological testing and/or environmental monitoring.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
