Work Schedule: Full-time
SUMMARY
The Loan Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the lending team at Malvern National Bank. This position is responsible for providing administrative assistance and clerical support that facilitates the efficient processing of loans. The Coordinator will ensure that all necessary documentation is collected and submitted promptly to the Loan Operations team, thereby enhancing the overall lending experience for customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver exceptional customer service through friendly and professional interactions, both in-person and via phone.
- Provide current loan information to clients, including payment details, tax information, and account balances.
- Schedule meetings between clients and loan officers.
- Assist clients, loan officers, and the Loan Operations team throughout the loan process.
- Request necessary documents such as credit reports, appraisals, and verifications to support loan applications.
- Manage inspections and fund disbursements for construction loans.
- Maintain accurate files for construction loans.
- Monitor loan collateral and ensure compliance with financial expectations.
- Coordinate loan closings with all relevant parties.
- Review closing documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Facilitate the funding of loans and prepare transaction documentation.
- Ensure the timely submission of closed loan files to the Loan Operations department.
- Complete follow-up tasks related to documentation and collateral.
- Contribute to branch objectives by fostering relationships with customers and promoting additional financial services.
- Adhere to compliance training and internal controls, ensuring knowledge of relevant regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all customer interactions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's Degree in a business-related field or two years of relevant experience preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a lending environment required.
- Prior experience as a loan assistant is advantageous.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to support management effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in drafting loan documents and correspondence.
- Capable of managing tasks independently while adhering to deadlines.
- Strong mathematical skills for calculations related to loans.
- Analytical skills for organizing and interpreting information.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with office equipment and software, particularly MS Office.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is primarily office-based, with a moderate noise level typical of a standard office environment. There are no hazardous conditions associated with this role.
