Position Overview:
The Waste Management Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning and overseeing the transportation of waste materials to both internal and external disposal sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize Health & Safety by adhering to established policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
  • Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations regarding outbound shipments.
  • Ensure adherence to warehouse standards in the broker area and container management.
  • Optimize loading processes for containers based on weight and classification of hazardous materials.
  • Document critical information related to outbound shipments, including weights, quantities, and shipping dates.
  • Demonstrate proficient forklift operation skills for effective loading of containers.
  • Leverage knowledge of waste facilities that accept broker loads to prevent off-spec charges.
  • Exhibit regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a four-year degree is preferred.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in hazardous waste management or environmental management is essential.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficient experience operating forklifts and yard dogs is necessary.
  • Ability to comprehend and execute both written and verbal instructions.
  • A post-offer drug screening will be conducted.
