Director of Sales and Revenue Growth

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales plans to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed annual budget targets.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to ensure effective internal and external communications with business partners.
  • Maintain a high level of property awareness and knowledge of features, services, and operations.
  • Grow production of existing corporate and leisure accounts, and implement programs for special corporate and leisure transient sales.
  • Ensure compliance with all property policies and procedures, and maintain accurate and current sales-related data.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Revenue to prepare, develop, and execute marketing plans, and plan, manage, and evaluate financial aspects of sales and marketing efforts.
  • Support direct sales efforts of the sales and marketing team, and maintain current job descriptions for all department positions.
  • Ensure the integrity of the property's mission statement, guiding principles, and culture through consistent involvement with all aspects of the property.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of college-level courses with an emphasis on business or communications required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications preferred.
  • Three years' experience as a manager within the Sales and Marketing department, with preferred experience in hotel transient sales.
