Position Overview:

The Senior Field Marketing Specialist is pivotal in generating demand and capitalizing on market opportunities with contractors, builders, and dealers. This role focuses on the North Division, encompassing key metropolitan areas. The primary objective is to enhance the number of contractors advocating for Hardie products to homeowners while safeguarding existing business and supporting contractors in growth phases. Additionally, this position aims to foster strong relationships with dealer sales representatives, empowering them to confidently promote Hardie products. Reporting to the Director of Marketing – Pro Channel, with a collaborative relationship with the Sr Director of Sales – North Division, this role requires engagement with a wide array of cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive market development and sales expansion, primarily focusing on converting competitors' siding options to Hardie fiber cement products.
  • Implement regional channel marketing strategies and tools aligned with corporate growth objectives.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of target customers, including contractors and homeowners, to create compelling market programs that foster growth in market share.
  • Collaborate with the central marketing team to execute strategic communications to the trade.
  • Work alongside sales teams to enhance contractor acquisition and alignment through local event execution.
  • Generate case studies and document successes to stimulate further market growth.
  • Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
  • 7 to 10 years of marketing experience is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of business-to-business (B2B) marketing experience is required.
  • Proven experience in creating, executing, and managing multiple project plans and integrated marketing campaigns simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate through complex and ambiguous situations effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage and influence people and build robust relationships across diverse groups.
  • Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time.
