Job Title: Training Specialist

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Training Specialist to support the Product Director Sensors – Aerial Intelligence (PD SAI) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, and acquisition/administrative support services to augment PD SAI core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of PD SAI and its associated Product Managers and customers.

This position is pending funding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs for PD SAI program training devices, computer programming, electronics, and networks.
  • Design and implement training materials, including lesson plans, POIs, student guides/workbooks, and training aids.
  • Provide resident and on-site technical assistance and training in the operation and maintenance of assigned systems and associate items.
  • Conduct training sessions on the theory of operation, system troubleshooting, and repair up to depot level.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and development and production activities.
  • Ensure training materials are current and up-to-date, working closely with maintenance and engineering.
  • Respond to questions and problems from the field.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (4 years of direct relevant experience may be substituted for education).
  • Minimum of 5 years of training experience in military systems (4 years military service, E6 or higher, may be considered as military training experience).
  • Active Secret Clearance required (US Citizenship required for Secret Clearance).
