Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced logistics expertise for the planning, programming, and execution of fielding operations and the development of new equipment training.
  • Conduct strategic planning, prioritize receiving organizations, develop execution plans, manage stock levels, ensure accountability of issued items, and prepare and deliver briefings to communicate program details.
  • Collaborate with various military commands and units to address logistics and training requirements.
  • Organize and direct work related to the planning and execution of fielding operations.
  • Assist in staffing Material Fielding Plans and New Equipment Fielding Plans, including total package fielding and tracking of Government Furnished Equipment.
  • Ensure accurate property accountability related to Materiel Fielding.
  • Oversee the successful fielding of equipment according to approved Basis of Issue.
  • Identify product discrepancies, manage stock levels at fielding stations, and assist in resolving equipment-related issues for personnel.
  • Establish and train Fielding Teams to conduct on-site activities associated with equipment fielding.
  • Plan for the setup of fielding sites, execute fielding events, and coordinate necessary logistics for training sessions.
  • Interface with suppliers regarding training programs and oversee the execution of recurring training for fielded products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with over twenty (20) years of relevant experience or a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of relevant experience.
  • PM SSV airdrop positions are exempt from the Bachelor's Degree requirement.
  • Certified Trainer with at least six months of training experience.
  • Proficient in using Logistics Automated Systems.
  • Prior jump certification is required.

Required Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret. US Citizenship is necessary to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
