Amentum is currently seeking a Logistics Specialist - Fielding and Equipment Training III to provide support for the PM Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) project office. This role is essential in a dynamic environment focused on delivering advanced protection and life support capabilities to enhance mission effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert logistics support for the planning, programming, and execution of fielding operations, along with the development and facilitation of new equipment training.
  • Engage in strategic planning and prioritization of receiving organizations, crafting execution plans, managing inventory levels, and ensuring accountability of issued materials.
  • Collaborate with various Army Commands and units to address logistics and training needs.
  • Organize and direct efforts related to the planning and execution of fielding operations.
  • Assist in the staffing and coordination of Material Fielding Plans and New Equipment Fielding Plans.
  • Ensure accurate property accountability for all aspects of Materiel Fielding.
  • Oversee the successful distribution of equipment in accordance with approved guidelines.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in products and manage stock levels at fielding stations.
  • Establish and train Fielding Teams for on-site equipment deployment activities.
  • Plan and execute fielding events, including the setup of fielding sites and coordination of necessary training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree with over ten (10) years of relevant experience, or at least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.
  • PM SSV airdrop positions may be exempt from the Bachelor's Degree requirement.
  • Certification Level III in Life Cycle Logistics is required.
  • Must be a Certified Trainer with a minimum of six months of training experience.
  • Proficiency in Logistics Automated Systems is essential.
  • Prior jump certification may be required.

Clearance Requirement:

  • An ACTIVE SECRET clearance is required. US Citizenship is necessary to obtain this clearance.
