Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert logistics guidance for the planning, programming, and execution of fielding operations and the development of new equipment training.
  • Engage in strategic planning and prioritization of receiving organizations; develop execution plans; manage stock levels and accountability of issued items; and prepare briefings to communicate program details.
  • Collaborate with ASAALT, AMC, Army Commands, and receiving Units to address logistics and training needs.
  • Organize and direct efforts related to the planning and execution of fielding operations.
  • Assist in the staffing of Material Fielding Plans (MFP) and New Equipment Fielding Plans, including total package fielding and tracking of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
  • Ensure accurate property accountability related to Materiel Fielding.
  • Oversee the successful execution of equipment issuance in accordance with the approved Basis of Issue (BOI).
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or defects in products, manage fielding station stock, and assist Soldiers with equipment-related issues.
  • Establish and train Fielding Teams to conduct on-site activities for equipment fielding.
  • Plan and execute fielding site setups, including packing equipment for shipment post-fielding events, conducting New Materiel In Briefs (NMIB), and facilitating New Equipment Training (NET) as required.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree with over ten (10) years of relevant experience, or fifteen (15) years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • PM SSV airdrop positions are exempt from the Bachelor's Degree requirement.
  • Certification Level III in Life Cycle Logistics.
  • Certified Trainer with a minimum of six months of training experience.
  • Proficient in the use of Logistics Automated Systems.
  • Prior jump certification as required.

Required Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret. US Citizenship is necessary to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
