Amentum is currently seeking a Logistics Specialist - Fielding and Equipment Training IV to provide support for the PM Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) project office. This role is integral to a dedicated team focused on delivering enhanced protection and equipment capabilities for mission success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver senior-level logistics expertise in the planning, programming, and execution of fielding operations, as well as the development and facilitation of new equipment training.
  • Engage in strategic planning and prioritization for receiving organizations, while developing execution plans and managing stock levels and accountability of issued items.
  • Collaborate with various military commands and units to address logistics and training requirements.
  • Organize and direct efforts related to the planning and execution of fielding operations.
  • Assist in the staffing of Material Fielding Plans and New Equipment Fielding Plans, ensuring accurate tracking of Government Furnished Equipment.
  • Ensure precise input of all property accountability aspects related to Materiel Fielding.
  • Oversee the successful fielding of equipment in accordance with approved Basis of Issue.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or defects in products, managing stock levels and addressing any issues faced by personnel with equipment.
  • Establish and train Fielding Teams to conduct on-site activities related to equipment fielding.
  • Plan and execute fielding events, including site setup, equipment packing for shipment, and conducting New Equipment Training as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with over twenty (20) years of relevant experience, or twenty-five (25) years or more of relevant experience.
  • PM SSV airdrop positions exempt from Bachelor's Degree Requirement.
  • Certified Trainer with a minimum of six months of training experience.
  • Proficient in Logistics Automated Systems.
  • Prior jump certification is preferred.

Required Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret. US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
