Fielding and Equipment Training Logistics Specialist

Amentum is actively seeking a Logistics Specialist-Fielding and Equipment Training II to provide support for the PM Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) project office under the Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all logistics related to fielding and training initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive System Support Packages (SSP) and manage fielding operations.
  • Create Training Support Packages (TSP) and implement New Equipment Training (NET).
  • Ensure all units have accurate schedules for fielding and training events as reflected in the Unit Master Fielding Schedule.
  • Procure necessary equipment and items to support fielding and training, monitoring all logistics until requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with installation contacts to ensure logistics support requirements are fulfilled during fielding events.
  • Interface with various military and logistics organizations to address training and logistics needs.
  • Execute equipment fielding in accordance with the approved Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP).
  • Establish and maintain NET in line with the approved TSP, ensuring training certification is obtained.
  • Assist in the formation and training of Fielding Teams for on-site equipment fielding activities.
  • Set up fielding sites and execute fielding events efficiently.
  • Prepare equipment for shipment following the completion of fielding events.
  • Provide Instructor Key Personnel Training (IKPT) and liaise with suppliers for NET TSP.
  • Conduct NET and fulfill other training requirements as needed.
  • Support VIP displays and coordinate firing ranges for New Equipment Training.

Qualifications:

  • High School/GED with over fourteen (14) years of relevant experience, OR an Associate's Degree with over twelve (12) years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor's Degree with over five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Certified Trainer with a minimum of six (6) months of training experience.
  • Proficient in using Logistics Automated Systems.
  • Prior jump certification may be required.

Required Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret. Note that U.S. Citizenship is necessary to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
