Fielding and Equipment Training Logistics Specialist

Amentum is actively seeking a Logistics Specialist-Fielding and Equipment Training II to provide support for the PM Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) project office. This role is integral to the Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier and is based in Fort Belvoir, VA. As part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to enhancing protection and support capabilities that are vital for mission success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all logistics related to fielding and training events.
  • Create and manage System Support Packages (SSP) and facilitate fielding processes.
  • Develop Training Support Packages (TSP) and deliver New Equipment Training (NET).
  • Ensure accurate scheduling of fielding and training events in the Unit Master Fielding Schedule.
  • Procure necessary equipment and materials to support fielding and training, ensuring all logistics requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with various military and logistics entities to fulfill training and equipment needs.
  • Implement fielding of equipment in line with the approved Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP).
  • Establish and maintain NET in accordance with the approved TSP, including lesson plans and instructional materials.
  • Assist in the formation and training of Fielding Teams for on-site equipment fielding activities.
  • Set up fielding sites and execute fielding events efficiently.
  • Prepare equipment for shipment following the completion of fielding activities.
  • Provide Instructor Key Personnel Training (IKPT) and liaise with suppliers for NET TSP.
  • Conduct NET and fulfill other training requirements as needed.
  • Support VIP displays and coordinate necessary resources for training events.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED with over fourteen (14) years of relevant experience, OR an Associate's Degree with over twelve (12) years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor's Degree with over five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Certified Trainer with a minimum of six (6) months of training experience.
  • Proficient in using Logistics Automated Systems.
  • Prior jump certification may be required.

Required Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret. Note that US Citizenship is necessary to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
