Zachary Piper Solutions is in search of a Training Support Specialist to contribute to a federal initiative focused on enhancing operational efficiency.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and knowledgeable Training Support Specialist who possesses a strong understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) guidelines and industry best practices, particularly in records management and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). The successful candidate will take on a comprehensive consulting role, from initial assessment to execution, evaluating our current legal workflows, mapping these processes, recommending policy enhancements, and establishing systems for e-discovery and case management. This role will require collaboration with IT and various departments to ensure the successful integration of proposed systems and procedures. The Training Support Specialist will also focus on low/no code development and provide training for MS 365 tools, including hands-on training sessions, developing case management and e-discovery resources, and implementing performance metrics through Power BI. The objective is to optimize office functionality and automation across the Office of General Counsel (OGC).

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate existing legal workflows within the federal sector, emphasizing adherence to DoD guidelines and best practices. Create process maps and propose enhancements to policies and procedures related to records management and e-discovery. Establish systems for e-discovery and case management, ensuring compliance with the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). Collaborate with IT and other departments to promote the adoption of recommended systems and procedures. Design and conduct training on MS 365 tools, including hands-on training sessions. Utilize low/no code development platforms such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and MS 365 productivity applications (e.g., Outlook, Word) to develop case management and e-discovery tools. Leverage SharePoint Online (SPO), Purview Premium, and other MS 365 functionalities to enhance office operations and automation. Create metrics and reporting solutions using Power BI to assess the effectiveness of implemented systems and processes. Work in partnership with the OGC to enhance overall office operations and streamline automation for all OGC activities.

Essential Qualifications:

Eligibility to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC). Preferred Certifications: MCSA, MCTS, PMI-ACP, Microsoft Power Platform (PL-100, PL-300, or PL-500). Proficient in MS 365 tools, including SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Strong understanding of DoD guidelines, records management, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with IT and other departments.

Compensation Package:


• Salary range: $85,000-$105,000 (commensurate with experience)
