The Guest Services Associate is responsible for managing the check-in and check-out processes for guests at the hotel, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and efficient service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Front Desk operations related to guest arrivals and departures, adhering to established guidelines and procedures; handle all financial transactions with accuracy.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and courteously; resolve issues effectively or escalate them to appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Manage reservations by pre-registering guests, blocking rooms, and processing same-day bookings in line with hotel pricing strategies and promotional offers; handle cancellations as per protocols.
  • Complete required logs and reports as directed by management.
  • Facilitate alternative accommodations for guests when required, following established protocols.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of company policies, procedures, and services; general awareness of other hotel departments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in using Front Desk software and systems.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Adherence to corporate standards and procedures.

Experience and Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Front Desk or customer service role.
  • Participation in required annual training as designated by the organization.
  • Any additional training as mandated by management.

Work Environment:

  • This position operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and printers.
  • This is a full-time role, with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Work schedules may vary.
  • This role is primarily indoors.
