Role Summary: In the capacity of Host and Cashier at Eximius Associates, your primary responsibilities will include welcoming and seating patrons, overseeing reservations, and accurately processing transactions. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong dedication to exceptional customer service.

Key Duties:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and inviting attitude, efficiently managing reservations and seating arrangements.
  • Facilitate a seamless flow of guests within the establishment, effectively managing wait times and communicating with both guests and staff.
  • Accurately handle customer transactions, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
  • Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, services, and any special requests they may have.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, ensuring it is always presentable.
  • Efficiently manage the point-of-sale system, including processing orders and handling receipts.
  • Assist with end-of-day procedures, including reconciling the cash drawer and preparing daily financial reports.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a hosting, cashiering, or customer service role is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic computer operations.
  • A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality or related fields are advantageous.
