About the Role

The Manager of Corporate Philanthropy & Partnerships plays a critical role in advancing KIPP DC's mission to provide high-quality education to students in Washington, D.C. This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to secure corporate partnerships, grants, and in-kind donations to support KIPP DC's programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners, community organizations, and local institutions to secure funding and resources for KIPP DC's programs and services.
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to expand KIPP DC's reach and impact.
  • Collaborate with school leaders and program teams to identify school and programmatic needs and develop strategic partnerships to address these needs.
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate donors, community partners, and local institutions to ensure ongoing support and engagement.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure $1M annually for KIPP DC.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive plans to achieve goals.
  • Experience with fundraising databases and software, with the ability to track and analyze donor data.
Benefits and Compensation

KIPP DC offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a starting salary range of $71,615-$85,256, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 403(b) retirement account with a 3% employer contribution and a 3% match with vesting after three years.
