Job Summary

Modjeski and Masters is seeking a highly skilled Bridge Inspection Engineer to join our team. As a Bridge Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of bridges, identifying potential issues, and developing repair plans to ensure the safety and integrity of these critical infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct hands-on inspections of bridges, including fixed and movable structures, to identify potential issues and defects.
  • Develop and implement repair plans to address identified issues, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, construction managers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, including photographs and videos, to document findings and recommendations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on bridge maintenance and repair best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in bridge inspection and maintenance, with a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.
  • Valid EI certification or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CADD software, with experience in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation preferred.
