Job Summary

The Lemoine Company, L.L.C. is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our LEAP Program. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the success of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Construction Support: Assist in the preparation and submission of RFIs, Submittals, and other project-related documents to the Architect/Owner, including the distribution of responses to affected Trade Partners.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections before, during, and after installation of work put in place using predetermined checklists and documents with photographs, as required by the site-specific QA/QC plan.
  • Bid Proposal Preparation: Assist in the preparation of bid proposal, including cost breakdown, clarifications, scope, and exclusions.
  • Subcontract Quantity Take-Off: Perform subcontract quantity take-off on assigned Trade scopes and lead the development of tab sheets.
  • On-Site Supervision: Assist the Superintendent in the daily scheduling and supervision of on-site activities.
  • Trade Partner Collaboration: Actively participate and ensure the completion and quality of trade partner JSAs and use JSAs to plan tasks.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Construction Management, Engineering, or related curriculum or equivalent work experience.
  • Internship: Internship in the commercial construction industry preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the construction industry and general management and business skills.
  • Project Planning: Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and estimating for construction trades (all disciplines).
  • Technical Skills: Requires capabilities in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent math, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Ability: Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
  • Work Environment: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
