Senior Business Development Manager

As a key member of the Business Development & Marketing Department, the Senior Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in implementing Business Development strategy and driving new business and marketing initiatives. This position requires collaboration with attorneys and leadership within assigned practice groups to engage clients and drive revenue growth in the market.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute business development plans to drive revenue growth and expand existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with attorneys to advise on business development best practices and strategies.
- Establish data metrics to track client pipelines and business performance.
- Engage with departments and attorneys to develop a deep understanding of client needs and provide strategic solutions.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Develop and implement proposals and pitches to secure new business and expand existing relationships.
- Track new business prospects and lead cultivation across assigned practice areas.
- 5-7 years of marketing/business development experience working with attorneys and practice groups.
- Large law firm or professional services experience preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance, excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions.
- Experience with a fast-paced work environment and excellent project management skills.
- In-depth understanding of the business development and sales functions in a professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of law firm revenue, compensation, and client service metrics.
- Demonstrated strategic, analytical, and creative thinking.
- Ability to maintain client and prospect confidentiality at all times.
