Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Life Safety Specialist to join our team at Summit Companies. As a Fire Life Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for cleaning commercial kitchen hood systems and ensuring the highest level of fire safety and protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and inspect commercial kitchen hood systems to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations
  • Conduct thorough inspections of kitchen exhaust systems, including fans, roof, and filters
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on kitchen hood systems as needed
  • Take photos of work completed and maintain accurate records
  • Drive to and from job sites and maintain a clean and organized truck
  • Fulfill paperwork and administrative tasks
  • Work safely with ladders and chemicals
  • Meet scheduled appointments and deadlines
Requirements
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Valid driver's license
  • Consistent dependability and strong customer service skills
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate and direct team members
  • Light mechanical ability and ability to work with hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds
  • Safety-minded and able to work in a fast-paced environment
