Position Location
This role is based in a designated area.
Your Responsibilities
As a Suppression Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems, and Suppression Gas Systems, along with other related products at various customer locations. You will troubleshoot and install systems from multiple manufacturers, including Simplex and ANSUL. Your ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, diagrams, and operational manuals will be essential. You will manage daily service calls and customer interactions while working with various suppression systems.
Key Duties Include:
- Addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Participating in an on-call rotation for emergency services.
- Conducting inspections of Suppression Gas Systems in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Performing thorough inspections of customer systems.
- Utilizing mobile technology and equipment effectively.
- Potential involvement in government-related projects.
Qualifications We Seek
Essential:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- FEL-A certification.
Preferred:
- Certifications from manufacturers such as ANSUL or Kiddie PyroChem.
- RMEI and multi-licensing are advantageous.
- Valid driver's license.
