Your proficiency in fire protection systems, coupled with a strong commitment to safety, will be instrumental in safeguarding lives and properties from fire hazards. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking organization that values growth and innovation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections, testing, and maintenance of firefighting equipment, including SCBA, breathing air compressors, hydraulic rescue tools, and gas detection devices.
  • Perform flow testing to certify equipment functionality in accordance with required standards.
  • Adhere to regulations set forth by manufacturers, NFPA, NIOSH, OSHA, and other relevant bodies.
  • Engage with fire departments and clients to discuss inspection outcomes and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with the purchasing department for replacement parts and supplies.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing inspection results, repairs completed, and suggestions for system enhancements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding quotes, bids, invoices, and orders.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual production targets.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is clean and organized, performing regular preventative maintenance.
  • Analyze and manage assigned areas to address current and future customer needs.
  • This role requires travel within the region, including overnight stays as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in fire service is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 years in route sales and service or related fields.

  • Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting capabilities.

  • Must possess a clean driving record and pass background and drug screening.
  • Able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, kneeling, and climbing regularly.
