Position Location

This role is based in a designated area.

Your Responsibilities

As a Suppression Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems, and Suppression Gas Systems, along with other related building safety products at various client locations. You will work with multiple manufacturers, including Simplex and ANSUL, and will be expected to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, diagrams, and operational manuals. Additionally, you will manage daily service calls and customer interactions while handling system products.

Key Duties Include:

  • Addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Participating in an on-call rotation for emergency services.
  • Conducting inspections of Suppression Gas Systems as per contractual obligations.
  • Evaluating customer systems for compliance and functionality.
  • Utilizing smartphones and specialized equipment for service tasks.
  • Potential involvement in government-related projects.

Qualifications We Seek

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • FEL-A certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications from any manufacturer, such as ANSUL or Kiddie PyroChem, are advantageous.
  • RMEI and multi-license certifications are preferred.
  • A valid US driver's license.
