Job Summary

DISH, a leading provider of connectivity solutions, is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager of Business Development to drive growth and innovation across its business units. This key role will be responsible for identifying, justifying, and executing new business opportunities, both within DISH's existing partner landscape and in new spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team focused on deal sourcing and execution for DISH and Sling across all industry partnerships: distribution, platform, product, and sponsorships.
  • Collaborate with leaders on Sling's product and marketing teams to identify, vet, and negotiate new partners that help grow DISH & Sling's engagement and user base.
  • Develop and oversee a deal pipeline, identifying and evaluating opportunities around new businesses and extensions of existing businesses with a focus on growth and engagement.
  • Build and onboard new team resources focused on new business opportunities across industry touchpoints: distribution, product, marketing, and sponsorships.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; MBA or JD preferred.
  • 5+ years of business development and contract negotiation experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working on streaming platform product roadmaps and integrations.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in negotiating OTT and/or mobile deals and/or content acquisition deals.
