About the Role

Corbion is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to drive commercialization and growth within our Biochemicals division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for uncovering and maximizing opportunities, managing projects from concept to commercialization, and collaborating with sales and technical teams to develop and execute business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the overall project pipeline and conversion cycle for the Americas.
  • Partner with Corbion's sales and functional teams to develop and maximize innovative new product and application concepts.
  • Engage with key target customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Align with the Director of Business Development and regional sales team to execute efficiently on market opportunities.
  • Identify new opportunities, proactively prospect, and follow up on leads to manage the overall regional development pipeline.
  • Analyze market trends, communicate competitive strategies, and activities on a market and account level.
  • Represent Corbion at key trade shows and conferences, providing engaging and informative presentations that lead to expanded opportunities within the industry.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Business, Marketing, or a technically relevant field. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success growing B2B raw material or ingredient sales in roles focused on product development or sales within the biochemical industry.
  • Experience connecting with key decision-makers in existing and prospective accounts.
  • Proven communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Driven, proactive, and able to learn quickly.
  • Creativity and adaptability to changing situations.
  • Ability to travel an average of 40%.
