Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in a call center environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Friendly and customer-oriented demeanor
  • Completion of Covid (2 shots) and Flu Vaccine
  • Ability to pass federal and state background checks/drug screenings
  • High School Diploma or GED

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers in a professional manner.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact, ensuring a positive experience while scheduling patient appointments in line with clinic standards.
  • Handle incoming calls with outstanding customer service, focusing on compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Schedule new, returning, and referral appointments accurately, or transfer calls to appropriate agents as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date scheduling compliance by regularly reviewing guided schedule documents.
  • Identify suitable physicians for non-directed referrals.
  • Manage rescheduling of patient appointments when necessary.
  • Address non-clinical patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate clinical staff.
  • Set clear expectations for patients regarding their visits to ensure a superior experience.
  • Utilize various systems such as Allscripts and Centricity Business to retrieve and manage patient information.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Meet group productivity and quality standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
