Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls with outstanding customer service, emphasizing compassionate care.
  • Schedule new, returning, and referral appointments accurately, or transfer calls to advanced agents as needed.
  • Utilize access center technologies to maintain compliance with physicians' scheduling templates.
  • Monitor scheduling documents to ensure adherence to guidelines.
  • Identify appropriate physicians for referrals.
  • Manage patient rescheduling and field non-clinical inquiries.
  • Set clear expectations for patient visits to enhance their experience.
  • Contact patients to reschedule appointments when necessary.
  • Utilize various systems, including Allscripts and Centricity Business, to retrieve and manage patient information.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards set by the group.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
