About the Role

Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to drive growth and revenue in the defense and space industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and developing strategic plans to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic capture plans to pursue USG intelligence community opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customer and industry contacts to stay informed about market developments and potential opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver effective marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Manage and track campaign performance, maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, briefings, and customer demonstrations to showcase Airbus U.S. capabilities and solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in the space industry, with a focus on business development, capture, or new business technical solutions.
  • Proven track record of sustained sales growth and successful campaign execution.
  • Experience working with USG decision-makers and a deep understanding of space force community programs and requirements.
