As a Senior Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships and growth initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and expand existing partnerships, working closely with the Business Development team to identify critical needs and gaps.
- Support the development of a market strategy that meets or exceeds annual orders and revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers to accelerate partnership acquisitions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
- Share partner insights with business and product teams to drive continuous improvements.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of partner and end-customer needs, as well as market trends and industry challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Development, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of related experience, including 5+ years of experience in selling and negotiating enterprise B2B partnerships and building relationships in the DoD industry.
- Extensive knowledge of business development, capture management, program management, and acquisition processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders and provide leadership within the workplace.
- Working knowledge of engineering support acquisition organizations and experience developing account plans and capture plans for new business opportunities.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense (Civilian), NASA/Civil or commercial space, and/or US Military.
- Ability to drive results with unwavering integrity and exhibit excellent relationship-building skills.
- Typically 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of demonstrated capture or similar Civilian Department of Defense (DoD) experience.
- Strong business and DoD acquisition acumen.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering, Finance, or Business field of study.
- Advanced skills in assessing outside vendor competitive analysis and price-to-win target setting.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with an exquisite attention to detail.
- Previous management experience, with the ability to recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work.
SNC offers a competitive salary range of $194,000 to $243,199.32, as well as annual incentive pay based on performance. The company also provides a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
