Key Responsibilities:


The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to, the following tasks and responsibilities encountered while performing this position.

Core Duties:


- Organize, schedule, and implement various employee engagement events, including Charity Fundraising Events, Spirit Committee Meetings, Vacation Parties, Summer Events, etc.

- Manage the site event calendar, creating, printing, and posting engagement flyers throughout the facility.

- Oversee the site newsletter, responsible for writing articles, compiling, designing, and laying out the newsletter.

- Handle the printing and distribution of the newsletter.

- Reconcile and balance assigned accounts.

- Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, reserve and prepare facilities, and record and transcribe meeting minutes.

- Procure parts and equipment for the department through approved suppliers.

- Enter purchase order requisitions into the accounting system daily to track account transactions and maintain departmental database information, producing reports as necessary.

- Assist new hires weekly in setting up computers, desks, and telephone systems.

- Organize and maintain the electronic filing system via Google Suites, filing correspondence and other records.

- Effectively interact with all levels of organizational staff and company personnel.

- Demonstrate effective presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written/oral communication, and customer service skills.

- Meet attendance requirements, which may occasionally necessitate overtime.


Proficiency in the English language is required to communicate, read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong written, verbal, and typing skills are essential.


- Meet all performance expectations set by DISH, including but not limited to satisfying applicable metrics, productivity standards, goals, and proficiencies related to overall performance.



Physical Requirements:
The role may require prolonged standing, walking, and performing tasks that necessitate manual dexterity and repetitive motion.

- Physical ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

- Safely transport materials, finished products, or equipment using proper lifting techniques.

- Perform tasks that require bending, stooping, or reaching to access materials, equipment, or workstations.

- Assemble and disassemble components using hand tools and equipment.

- The employee must be able to use a computer mouse, keyboard, telephone, and other equipment.

Sensory Requirements:


While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to communicate with other employees and hear speech from other employees.


The employee will need to regularly interact and communicate with others, including but not limited to face-to-face communications, phone communications, and email & chat messaging communications; the employee must be able to comprehend the subject of the communication and take appropriate action, if necessary.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus, read and interpret documents and instructions; frequent identification of letters, numbers, and symbols in a technology environment; sufficient visual acuity to inspect products for quality and identify any defects or discrepancies.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
High school diploma/GED and one year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in computer software programs such as Google Suite, including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Drive, and Calendar.

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

- Ability to address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

- Basic accounting skills, including the ability to manage, reconcile, and transact multiple assigned cash accounts while maintaining a correct balance.

- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/events while maintaining a positive and inviting demeanor.

- Requires a high level of computer expertise, including the use of databases, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications; ability to train preferred; general office knowledge involving filing, data entry, operating a multi-line phone system, and customer service.

- Self-directed with strong organizational, negotiating, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and interpret bar graphs and diagrams.

The base pay range shown is a guideline.

Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.

Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
