Position Overview: The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth office operations by delivering comprehensive administrative support. This position involves preparing various documents, managing correspondence, and assisting with general office tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage correspondence, reports, and documentation; maintain organized filing systems and track important files.
  • Provide backup support for telephone communications.
  • Handle invoice processing and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Keep attendance records and manage library resources.
  • Document meeting minutes effectively.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements as necessary.
  • Oversee inventory of office supplies and place orders as required.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist with other tasks as assigned.
  • Support the organization's quality initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.

Experience: A minimum of one year in general office administrative roles or a comparable combination of education and experience is necessary. Experience in the insurance sector is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Excellent analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
